Are you a CCM student who would like to use your skills and talents to give back to your community? You've come to the right place. A job with WKMP is a great way for you to gain experience teaching music, managing a classroom, building relationships, and working with other performers to give back to the community.
WKMP is doing everything we can to make as big of an impact on Cincinnati's at-risk elementary school students.
We have the drive, now we need the people.
Working with WKMP will help us to be able to expand to more schools, which means more students, more classes, and more opportunites for Cincinnati youth to find all the joy that can be found in performance.

How to Apply
Working with WKMP
WKMP is seeking dedicated CCM students with a clear enthusiasm for our program and its mission.
WKMP Student Leaders will be expected to attend and prepare for weekly classes at a Cincinnati Public Elementary School.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

Attendance of a training seminar, which teaches basic classroom management and introduces WKMP leaders to the application of the curriculum.

Preparation for each weekly class meeting.

Contacting, communicating with, and facilitating the presence of guest artists.

A commitment to form relationships with the WKMP students.

Travel to and from weekly classes.
WKMP Student Leaders will be paid an hourly wage as an employee of the CCM Preparatory Department.
